BMW recalls 132,000 cars for fuel-pump fixes

BMW is recalling about 130,000 cars fitted with its N54 twin-turbo six-cylinder engine to repair a faulty high-pressure fuel pump. The recall covers the 2007-10 335i; the 2008-10 135i, 535i and X6 xDrive35i, and the 2009-10 Z4 sDrive35i. BMW says about 40,000 of those cars will need a new fuel pump.

BMW Vision Future Luxury at 2014 Beijing Motor Show hints at new 9 Series

BMW unveiled its latest concept on Easter Sunday, which could signal an all-new 9 Series model to top its range. The four-seater concept – called Vision Future Luxury – was revealed at the Beijing Motor Show, but MSN Cars got a sneak preview of the car back in Munich, Germany in early April 2014 and spoke to its key designers to bring you this ‘inside track’ report. Land Rover blocking Range Rover Evoque sales to ‘Dishonest’ buyers

Land Rover are blocking sales of the Range Rover Evoque in an effort to stem the flow of cars out of the UK from ‘dishonest’ buyers Over the last few days we’ve had a number of emails from disgruntled readers who’ve been unable to collect their new Range Rover Evoque from their dealer, despite their Evoque being with the dealer and being paid for in full. It transpires that Land Rover are trying to control the supply of the Evoque to businesses and individuals who may sell it on or export it, but their weapon of choice seems to be a bit blunt. So far, after just a few phone calls, we’re aware of over 50 Evoques where Land Rover has either cancelled the order or refused to release the car.
